About Farmhouse Fireside

Roasted in Seahurst. Built around a good dog.

A small farmhouse roastery on the Puget Sound, run by two people, one good dog, and a mission to make every cup do a little good in the world.

The Founders

John & Tammie Elliott — two halves of one farmhouse

Every bag of Farmhouse Fireside Coffee starts in the same place: a farmhouse in Seahurst, Washington, where John Elliott has spent years perfecting small-batch roasts that taste like home.

John approaches coffee the way a craftsman approaches wood — with patience, intuition, and an obsessive eye for the details that separate good from exceptional. What began as an early-morning ritual became a calling. Months of tasting, blending, and iterating went into each signature recipe — not because he had to, but because anything less felt like a disservice to the people drinking it.

Tammie is the other half of everything here. Where John is at the roaster, Tammie is the steady presence that shapes the brand — the warmth in every product description, the care behind the packaging, and the heart driving the Cornelius Fund mission. Her influence is in everything, even when it doesn't have her name on it.

The Craft

Small-batch. Roasted to order. Never rushed.

We roast in small batches on a single drum roaster in our Seahurst farmhouse, dialing each profile by hand to within a degree of where we want it. There is no warehouse inventory sitting on a shelf for weeks — your bag is roasted after you order, then shipped within 48 hours.

We source from growers who pay fair wages and farm responsibly. We blend for balance, not novelty. We free-ship every order, every time, no minimums. And we will never grow faster than we can roast well.

Twelve blends and counting — from the House Blend we drink every morning, to seasonal favorites like Pumpkin Spice and Pecan Pie, to a quiet little Jasmine Green Tea Tammie steeps when the day finally slows down. Each one crafted with the same care as the first cup John ever brewed.

The Cornelius Fund

The good dog behind every cup

Cornelius is the Elliott family's good dog — a gentle old hound from Seahurst who was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease and Diabetes. His daily medications and vet visits run about $500 a month, and the Elliots are lucky to be able to afford that. Most families aren't.

That's why a portion of every bag sold goes directly into the Cornelius Fund — a small, hands-on effort that helps families cover the cost of treatment for dogs with Cushing's Disease and Diabetes. Every order matters: even a $1 per bag adds up to real help for a real family.

We don't run a charity with overhead and a board. We move the money ourselves, directly to the families who need it. To date, the Cornelius Fund has helped cover treatment costs for dozens of dogs — and it's only possible because you chose to make your morning cup count.
